Q: How much does a new CV cost?

A: The charge is £110 for a new CV which includes a consultation.

 

Q: How much will updates to an existing CV cost or one I've created using AI/ChatGPT?

A: It depends on what is required – this will be assessed and confirmed during your free consultation. We charge £55 an hour so minor updates can often be completed in this time.

 

Q: Can I not just use AI/ChatGPT to write me a CV? 

A: It’s a great tool for crafting your CV but you still need the human element to ensure you are conveying originality, passion and detailing your achievements in context. Employers can detect CVs produced using AI and will reject those created solely with AI as this will show a lack of effort!)

 

Q: I’ve heard ChatGPT can provide me with a set of interview questions for an interview?

A: AI is recommended to compliment your interview preparation but it can never be a replacement for human guidance and coaching where an analytical approach is required. 

 

Q: What will be covered during my free consultation?

A: Ahead of your consultation we will have requested your current CV, if you have one, and during the consultation we will get to know you and confirm what we can do to support you.

Q: What happens after my free consultation?

A: You will be sent a tailored plan, if progressing with the Employability Package, with recommended sessions and confirmation of costs. If you only require a CV we will confirm the timeline and costs. 

 

Q: If I request interview coaching for a specific interview, how will this work?

A: We will need the company name, job description, interviewers names and the format of the interview so we can work with you on what to prepare.

 

Q: How will general interview coaching work?

A: We will find out what roles you are applying for and set up some typically asked questions for you to work through, using the STAR technique, with a follow-up mock interview session to put your answers into practice.

 

Q: When would my tailored sessions be held?

A: Currently sessions are held at the weekend at a pre-arranged and agreed time.

 

Q: What happens if I need to move a booked session?

A: We will move your session to another week, just ensure you let us know as soon as you can.

Q: Once my CV is finalised, what happens if I need help with adding or updating it?

A: We are happy to make any changes you want up to 12 months free of charge.
